List Of Famous Vegetarians and Celebrity Vegans. Read My Interviews With Famous Vegan Bodybuilders Robert Cheeke and Jim Morris

More and more celebrities are looking to vegetarianism for a healthier body and an easier way to stay in great shape these days. For some of them it may be the many great health reasons that leads them to skip animal products and to embark on a healthy plant-based diet .

For others, the abominable animal cruelty that is part of our everyday standard food production is no longer acceptable, and they have chosen a more compassionate, cruelty-free lifestyle by embracing a vegan diet.

You may also find some celebrities who are serious about saving our planet and preserving our natural resources for generations to come - before it is too late. Since animal farming produces more greenhouse gases than even transportation, and is the main cause of global depletion, eating a plant-based diet goes much further than all other green efforts combined.

And then there are many famous vegetarians who simply want to combine all of the above, lead with aspiring examples, and become a role model for the thousands of people that look at their every move and hang at their every word.

We salute these conscious stars who are keenly aware of the enormous responsibility that their stardom brings with it, and that they have chosen to be idols of compassion, healthy living, and a sustainable, peaceful future.

Vegan Bodybuilders

The first two interviews in my list of famous vegetarians are great examples of how a pure plant-based diet can keep you physically in absolute top form and allows you to successfully compete in bodybuilding.

This erases once again the misperception that it is hard to gain and retain muscle mass on a vegan diet. The plant kingdom is chock-full of great whole proteins and it all depends on eating the right, well-balanced diet, which will allow you to gain, maintain, or lose weight to create the ideal body you want.

Robert Cheeke

Read my interview with superstar vegan bodybuilder and athlete Robert Cheeke, who is the founder of Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness, an online portal that has grown into the most important resource for all things vegan athletes need to know.

Robert is also an amazing motivational speaker, social entrepreneur, fitness model, and successful book author.

Jim Morris

I was lucky to meet the amazing professional bodybuilder Jim Morris at
Vegans in Vegas in May 2011.

Even now at age 75, Jim looks simply fantastic - and he has been vegetarian for 25 years and vegan for the last 10 years of his life! Jim has a long and very successful competitive bodybuilding career, which has won him many titles such as Mr Jr USA, Mr America, Mr California, and Mr Olympia.

Read my interview with Jim Morris about his fitness routine, his daily nutrition, and his general insights for a healthy and goal-oriented life.

Many more interviews and portraits of famous vegetarians will follow, so stay tuned and check back often!
