Herb Robert For Skin Cancer

by Liz Oakes
(Queensland Australia)

Herb Robert Flower

Herb Robert Flower

Herb Robert Flower Herb Robert Growing In a Pot

Herb Robert is known as a weed in many parts of the world. It is also an excellent remedy to aid skin cancer!

In Europe and Britain it grows on the verges as a wild plant. Its pink flower is quite small, but once you have seen this distinctive flower and leaf shape, it is easy to recognize. It is not easy to grow in hot climates and I have always grown it both under shady trees as well as in pots in a cool spot.

b>One of the foremost herb farms in Queensland Australia, has been selling it to use as an effective "home-remedy" treatment for skin cancer. Our climate here is so hot and so many people have fair skin, due to the pre-dominnce of Anglo heritage, that skin cancer kills far too many people.

I have been eating it daily as a preventative for some years. In the heat of Queensland it is harder to grow than it would be in cooler climates.

I eat Herb Robert raw and have also soaked it in olive oil and rubbed the oil on the skin.

Some people eat it with honey to mask the taste, and books say it tastes like foxes! What that means I am not sure..? Although it can be eaten in a variety of ways, I think it's not too unpleasant a taste, so simply eating it straight off the plant as it comes is the easiest way.

Bon appetite! Good health!

Herb Robert as skin cancer remedy in desert climates
by: Ina

Liz this sounds amazing!

I live in the hot desert of Las Vegas, Nevada in the USA, and we sure could use a protective natural skin cancer remedy here as well.

I will check into growing Herb Robert in my garden too. I have a few shady areas where it may grow well.

Thanks so much for sharing!
